1988

Craftsman and cabinetmaker, Michel Grondin,
transforms his 900 ft2 workshop into Escaliers
Rive-Sud inc.

1996

Another expansion provides a painting room
dedicated to staircase varnishing. A painter joins the ERS team.

2003

ERS hires a delivery person as well as a staircase warehouse manager. At this point, the company employs around 15 people.

2006

Escaliers Rive-Sud extends its range of products by offering a variety of flooring brands.

2008

ERS creates its own flooring line - Exclusif ERS.

 
1993

First expansion of the workshop to 1,500 ft2. Three cabinetmakers and a carpenter join Michel Grondin.

1998

The paint shop is expanded to include a drying room for staircase varnish finishing. A small showroom is added to the operation.

2005

With special projects on the increase, ERS expands its cabinetmaking workshop and builds a second paint room.

2007

An impressive 2,000 ft2 showroom is built to allow ERS to exhibit its products as well as some of its most beautiful work. Eight staircase modules are on display.

2009

Painters, cabinetmakers, carpenter-installers... 35 professionals are now employed by ERS. Today, the company is planning to build a temperature-controlled warehouse to store the flooring it has been manufacturing and distributing since 2006.
